Toonda Innovation Lab is a 2-weeks very practical and intensive program about self-discovery, social enterprise and pitching your idea – you’ll learn how to discover your own business idea, that is even good for the community and how to present it. You’ll present it on the last day of the Innovation Lab in front of a jury. The best idea will be supported with 450.000 Ugandan Shillings to start the business.

Note:
This program is open exclusively to citizens of Kyakatama, Kabata, Kifuruka, and Rwihamba.
To apply, please come in person and fill out the application form on-site. If applicable, you may be invited for an interview.
The program will take place from December 5th to 19th, 2025, at the Toonda Cultural Community Center.
Sessions will be led by Micheal Magambe, Co-Founder of YINNOH and Alex Adiaka, Co-Founder of Nyotalifeline micro credit institution.

Attendance is mandatory — missing sessions may lead to disqualification from the program and the final pitch competition.
This program is completely free, thanks to the generous support of Toonda and the facilitators from YINNOH and Nyotalifeline micro credit institution.
Please note: no meals will be provided to keep the program free, but tea and water will be available.
🏆 The cash award given to the winning project must be used solely to start implementing the winning idea and will be monitored by Toonda.
